Kareem Derbas
Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Palma Development
As Founder, Partner and Chief Executive Officer of Palma Holding and Palma Development, Kareem Derbas has spent two decades shaping one of Dubai’s most respected real estate groups. His vision from the outset was clear: to deliver world-class developments that stand the test of time while protecting and growing the wealth of his clients. Over the years, Kareem has led Palma in delivering 15 landmark projects worth over AED 16 billion (USD 4.3 billion), spanning more than 8 million square feet of prime land. Among them are some of Dubai’s most recognisable waterfront addresses, including the award-winning Infinity / Cayan Tower Silverene Towers in Dubai Marina, and Serenia Residences on Palm Jumeirah. These developments have consistently proven to be among the city’s most rewarding investments, with values that endure and grow. Many of Palma’s clients have returned to purchase in successive projects, confident that every new address will live up to the quality, design and value they have come to expect. The recently launched Serenia Living in 2022 and Serenia District in 2025 continue this tradition, setting new benchmarks for lifestyle and investment potential.
Omar Derbas

Palma Development
Omar has over ten years of experience in Real Estate Development, Project Management, and Construction Management. He has successfully delivered seven high-rise buildings in Dubai, including the prestigious Infinity-Cayan Tower. Additionally, he led the flagship project, Silverene Towers. Omar is recognised for his strong leadership abilities, effective project coordination, and management skills. The seven buildings he has overseen are valued at more than AED 16 billion (USD 1 billion).
Before entering real estate, Omar spent several years in the manufacturing industry, where he supplied specialised products to the construction sector.
Omar also leads our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) department and is actively involved in various CSR initiatives. One of his notable contributions was managing the construction of two schools for a Palestinian refugee camp in Lebanon, in collaboration with UNRWA. These schools now proudly serve over 1,000 girls, providing them with access to education through this initiative.
Rana Hariz
Executive Director
Sales, Leasing & Operations
Palma Development
Rana is a real estate expert with over a decade of experience in Dubai’s real estate market, encompassing investment, development, and management of various property portfolios. Her diverse background has led her to become the Director of Business Development, where she focuses on enhancing the company’s market position by identifying, developing, defining, negotiating, and finalising business relationships that create new opportunities for shareholders and strategic investors.
Before assuming her role as Director of Business Development, Rana spent five years leading Palma’s Sales and Investment division, consistently achieving top performance and contributing to over AED 3 billion in residential sales in Dubai. She possesses extensive knowledge of local real estate investments and laws.
Rana thrives in the fast-paced, dynamic environment of her career and enjoys collaborating with people. She has recently completed a real estate management program at Harvard Business School in Boston.

As a Director of Interior Design, Natalie brings a wealth of creative vision and technical expertise to our award-winning projects. Natalie has a proven track record of delivering beautiful, memorable and functional spaces that exceed our residents’ expectations.
