Palma Development awarded a contract for the AED5bn Serenia District in Jumeirah Islands
Palma Development has awarded the piling and shoring contract for its flagship Serenia District development in Jumeirah Islands, marking another construction milestone for the AED5bn ($1.36bn) master-planned community. APCC Piling & Marine Contracting has been appointed to deliver the enabling works for West Residence, the first residential tower within the development.
The contract award signals the start of key foundation works as Palma advances construction on one of Dubai’s largest luxury residential communities currently under development.
Spanning more than 600,000 sq ft of land with a total built-up area of 3.5 million sq ft, Serenia District will be delivered in phases and comprise six residential towers centred around a lifestyle-focused masterplan.
Designed by Japanese architectural firm Nikken Sekkei, the project draws inspiration from the Ireko philosophy and will feature the Serenia Signature Clubhouse, Serenity Lake, landscaped wellness spaces, and extensive pedestrian walkways.
Located in Jumeirah Islands, the development aims to combine resort-style living with close proximity to key business and lifestyle hubs including JLT, Uptown Dubai, DMCC, and Dubai Marina.
