Kareem Derbas
Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Palma Development
As Founder, Partner and Chief Executive Officer of Palma Holding and Palma Development, Kareem Derbas has spent two decades shaping one of Dubai’s most respected real estate groups. His vision from the outset was clear: to deliver world-class developments that stand the test of time while protecting and growing the wealth of his clients.
Over the years, Kareem has led Palma in delivering 15 landmark projects worth over AED 16 billion (USD 4.3 billion), spanning more than 8 million square feet of prime land. Among them are some of Dubai’s most recognisable waterfront addresses, including the award-winning Infinity / Cayan Tower Silverene Towers in Dubai Marina, and Serenia Residences on Palm Jumeirah. These developments have consistently proven to be among the city’s most rewarding investments, with values that endure and grow.
Many of Palma’s clients have returned to purchase in successive projects, confident that every new address will live up to the quality, design and value they have come to expect. The recently launched Serenia Living in 2022 and Serenia District in 2025 continue this tradition, setting new benchmarks for lifestyle and investment potential.
Omar Derbas
Executive Director

Palma Development
Omar has over ten years of experience in Real Estate Development, Project Management, and Construction Management. He has successfully delivered seven high-rise buildings in Dubai, including the prestigious Infinity-Cayan Tower. Additionally, he led the flagship project, Silverene Towers. Omar is recognised for his strong leadership abilities, effective project coordination, and management skills. The seven buildings he has overseen are valued at more than AED 16 billion (USD 1 billion).
Before entering real estate, Omar spent several years in the manufacturing industry, where he supplied specialised products to the construction sector.
Omar also leads our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) department and is actively involved in various CSR initiatives. One of his notable contributions was managing the construction of two schools for a Palestinian refugee camp in Lebanon, in collaboration with UNRWA. These schools now proudly serve over 1,000 girls, providing them with access to education through this initiative.
Rana Hariz
Executive Director
Sales, Leasing & Operations
Palma Development
Rana is a real estate expert with over a decade of experience in Dubai’s real estate market, encompassing investment, development, and management of various property portfolios. Her diverse background has led her to become the Director of Business Development, where she focuses on enhancing the company’s market position by identifying, developing, defining, negotiating, and finalising business relationships that create new opportunities for shareholders and strategic investors.
Before assuming her role as Director of Business Development, Rana spent five years leading Palma’s Sales and Investment division, consistently achieving top performance and contributing to over AED 3 billion in residential sales in Dubai. She possesses extensive knowledge of local real estate investments and laws.
Rana thrives in the fast-paced, dynamic environment of her career and enjoys collaborating with people. She has recently completed a real estate management program at Harvard Business School in Boston.

Natalie has a proven track record of delivering beautiful, memorable and functional spaces that exceed our residents’ expectations. She is the brains behind some of the most iconic designs that are seen in Palma Development’s flagship projects.
Basel Chakour
Technical Director
Palma Development
Basel oversees the technical delivery of all our projects, skilfully managing relationships with external contractors, consultants, and design teams to uphold engineering excellence across our portfolio. His extensive background in MEP systems and project execution covers major developments such as Silverene Towers, Infinity Tower, Ocean Height Tower, and Standpoint Twin Towers, providing him with deep expertise in translating vision into technically sound, buildable solutions.
As Technical Director, Basel acts as the essential bridge between Palma Development’s design ambitions and technical reality. Collaborating closely with our interior design team, he ensures that mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems integrate seamlessly with design intent rather than constraining it. Basel orchestrates the technical ecosystem by aligning consultants, contractors, and internal teams around quality standards and delivery timelines, whilst protecting both the integrity of the projects and the experience our residents deserve.
Basel’s approach is rooted in his conviction that technical excellence goes hand in hand with design excellence. Over more than a decade at Palma, he has developed the relationships, systems, and expertise needed to navigate the complexity of premium residential development, ensuring that every technical decision advances the broader vision of creating exceptional communities.
Charaf Eddine Mounaim

Charaf Eddine drives the brand vision, marketing strategy, and digital innovation across Palma Development’s prestigious premium developments. With more than a decade of expertise in luxury real estate and elite markets, he delivers strategic insight and rigorous execution to every initiative, from planning flagship launches to elevating brand equity throughout our portfolio.
Charaf Eddine oversees marketing and communications for Palma Development’s portfolio of premium developments, including flagship projects on Palm Jumeirah and Jumeirah Islands. Beyond brand strategy, he leads the company’s digital transformation programme, starting with integrated CRM, marketing automation, and business systems that unify customer and revenue data across all operating units. This operational discipline amplifies marketing effectiveness and accelerates time-to-insight, positioning the organisation to respond swiftly to market dynamics whilst maintaining the elevated brand standards that define Palma Development’s market presence.
A PMP-certified leader, Charaf Eddine champions a communications ecosystem built on compelling brand storytelling, data-driven insights, and empowered teams. He merges refined brand strategy with a focus on measurable results. Balancing process excellence with people development, he brings clarity to complexity, aligning product, customer experience, and communications across business units, while nurturing emerging talent with authentic mentorship.
